Stub Cut for a foutain pen

Stub   $40

Rounded edges of nib, the least pronounced of line width variations. The line seems to be thinnest on the curves and thickest on a downstroke.

Cursive italic for a fountain pen

Cursive Italic    $40

Not as smooth as a stub but offers a lot more line width variation without being too scratchy. A fine comes with less variation and more tactile feedback.

Left oblique for a fountain pen

Left Oblique    $40

Nib is cut at a 15 degree oblique angle to the crosscut of a stub nib -the left oblique is by far the most popular, preferred by both left and right-handed writers. Can be sharp or round.

Architect's Point cut grind for fountain pens

Architect's Point    $55

Opposite of a Cursive Italic in that it offers a thin downstroke and a broad cross stroke. Excellent for writing Hebrew and Arabic.

Formal italic cut for a fountain pen

Formal Italic    $40

Sharper than the Cursive Italic, this is a challenging customization that offers very crisp line definition. This customization is suitable for advanced users.

Reverse Oblique cut grind for fountain pens

Reverse Oblique   $40

The opposite of a left oblique. Somewhat less common, the Reverse Oblique is preferred by left-handed overwriters that pull rather than push wnen writing.
